Anyways, I was looking at all the animal avatar art and didn't understand how someone would equate Aang with a wolf or dog. Come on people, he's thin, agile, flexible, yet goofy and fun. so I made him an ermine.

Heh... his tail and front paws are defying physics.

... heh - I gave him like... dog/ferret anatomy. Was a 3min. sketch, soo that's a valid excuse!

You know, I like doing more of the paper cut styled artwork, and I rarely show any of that style here or anywhere else. So I think I'll do and upload more work that are along those lines. Especially since I was inspired to do more after my Pixar movie kick. :D They inspire me a lot to try new and hopefully, innovative things.

Still working on that commission for HelterSkellter over at Deviantart. Kind of hate using this coloring method with animals because it's been overdone by most artists. But it is one of the quickest forms of coloring and I like it a lot on my humans. I guess as long as the drawing style is unique or something about the piece is unique, it isn’t verbatim.

Actually I really miss doing my grunge or ‘3D’ work. This is why I can’t wait for longer weekends next quarter so I can build up my skills in those areas and also try and start on a bombtastic portfolio. :) I’m going to have two, one Graphic Design and one for animation studios.

I've always thought it hilarious to have an emo Spongebob, something I dub as "Emo-Bob." Anyways, satirical jab at Hot Topic and their inevitable decision to make any cartoon character "hard-core" if the owner of the item allows it. So here is a cd cover of Emo-bob being straight-edged and telling kids not t cut. Because - hey... that's not cool, and it hurts.

I’ve never been a huge fan of Disney-esque animals. But I guess this kind of falls into that category. Seriously, look at this thing. It’s fricken’… something – I don’t know, I lost my train of thought. Anyways, gift for my friend Candycornkita over at Devart.

A wip for a commission I'm working on. going to fix a lot with this, a lot. xD but I was trying to not be too cartoony but more so semi-realistic. I'm also trying to find my own unique style when it comes to animals. Even though I haven't gotten there yet, I do believe that practice makes perfect.

Well I went to plaza today and picked up a new sketch book, kneed eraser, and mech pencil. :> When I got home my mom showed me some of her copic and prisma markers that she had, for some reason I forgot totally about those. D: She’s had them since the 80’s and they still work as though they’re brand new! Not only that but she has about 500 boards made especially for those markers. Wow – this sure makes up for not getting anything for Christmas – haha. Well… actually I recently got 4 art books. :> So I was lying.

Anyways, here is just a random sketch for a bigger idea that I have, decided to slap some colors on there for the heck of it. Lighter and darker versions just for comparison. I’m trying to do more background related art, I’m also thinking about drawing nothing but backgrounds for a while, they can be as artsy as anything else.

Also, random doodles of people running. Following Colin Tan’s awesome suggestion. :> Do 10 gesture drawings a day! It’s healthy for you. I know this is only 3, but hey. xD Also, anatomical perfection wasn't the point on this one, but next time it will be.

Wow, haven't been here in a while. :D Yea, was busy with school and all so I never really had the time to get on here. Anyways, sketches in the past two months or so. First one was from an image I found in NG and the other two are fanart.

Grah,,, huge batch of art. Mostly Avatar fanart with an original charter. When it came to inking I was inspired to try out Question Star's technique.

This is something that I did for my 2D class. Took a lot of time and tracing paper to compete. There is no real story, this just follows the emotions of people and I tried to show that with colors, postures, and what have you. It works better when it's in the sun with trees and shadows, all that good stuff. :D

Doodle of myself and my friend Brady. I work at my school's library. So there is bound to be a lot of lulz. The other two are of famous characters in my various styles.

Wow I haven’t been here in a while. ^^; Anyways – here are some Avatar sketches that took very little time. I’m still working Momo into my style, I don’t want him to seem to cartoony. As for Sokka, I pretty much have him down to what I like. This is a more simplified version of him showing his normal skeptical side. :D I’m too tired to do anymore sketches really – so I’ll get back to doing the rest of the cast tomorrow.

Spongebob and Squidward! :D I was taking a break from my 2D project by drawing….. SHUT UP. Anyways – you know those ugly or highly weird stills you often see in this show and in Ren & Stimpy? Well this was kind of inspired that. Except it’s more visually friendly. I’m going to color this with Corel Painter when I get it. :D I made Squidward older looking here and a lot more tired. Spongebob is dynamic looking, for obvious reasons. This is going to be a 4-panel piece, Squidward, Spongebob, Mr. Krabs, and Plankton. :)

Well, I have a long day tomorrow. So I’m going to draw out one more projectthingpage and then go to bed. I’ll ink them tomorrow in class or something after work.

Some random Spongebob sketches and ocs from the show. The red squirrel is named, Rick. In my original fan comic he is the one that co-worked with Sandy on land before she moved underwater. He comes underwater after being transferred down below with her, but this new friendship is not holding to well with lil’ Bobby. XD With both Rick and Spongebob vying for Sandy’s attention, it will be nerve-racking for her. Down below is a random doodle of Spongebob and Phillip my friend Chadd did.

Here are some more EE&E sketches that I did, this one is of Jimmy and the other is of a Kanker-Sister. I’ve always pictured the blue-haired K-S to be beautiful, but in a white-trash way still. As for Jimmy, he’s totally effeminate if not gay. I love them all to bits though. As you may be able to tell, chicks are my poison.

Last but not least are some sketches of my 2D class finale, a sequential piece. It was based off some friend’s statements from oriental countries and some researched data about the teenage populous of Japan. I wont tell the story here, or upload the finished just yet though. Well, I haven’t even finished it yet. ^^; There are more sketches, butt I'm to lazy t upload them. :l

Here are some more doodles. The Spongebob Rock one was started about two weeks ago, still haven’t gotten around to finishing it. ^^; Need to though. There is also another sketch of Mike from Monster’s Ink and my own super hero! His name is Piss-Man. This was made during math class and started as an inside joke, but surprisingly I have a decent story for him and his comrades. But I wont reveal too much just yet.

Also, here is a doodle for a friend of mine, Chad. I started drawing all the people I like/friends in college in my chibi/gangsta style. Might finish this along with the other sketches after my finals. Also going to try and do more graphic characters of people around my campus. Just like my muse, Stephen Silver. :D

I’m also in the process of creating a fan character in the SB series, call it a Mary-Sue if you will, but I normally don’t do this because it ruins in the integrity of the show sometimes.

Random doodle of Timmy Turner as well as some other familiars. I decided to restart my project of drawing my fave cartoon show’s characters in my own style. I did start with Chester two years ago, but I never got past that. But since my doodling skills have gotten better since then, as well as my understanding of morphing anatomy, I decided to give it another shot. :)

Btw, the last guy is supposed to be Kevin. He looks like he’d be somewhat stocky in rl, I based this off of the composition of his anatomy in the cartoon.

I like making random animal/human hybrids. This one happens to be a dog/human. Did this when taking a break from sketching the lemur.

These are some sketches for my 2D drawing class project dealing with patterns. I used a lemur for natural pattern who wears a checkered shirt resembling grid-like and closure pattern. I like him a lot, I think I might make him a regular character. Btw, the final wip is a lost more detailed and realistic than this.

This was a quick doodle that I did at the end of my senior year. At the time I thought it was awesome, even if I did notice all of the mistakes to be had in it. Now it is bad to me – haha. Even if it has received a lot of comments on deviantart. I think it is time to put it in my scrap book.

Here is the full image of an icon that I did for someone. The eyes where blue or brown, so I changed them in the end. Just one more and I’m done with her commission. :3

Here is a fanart I did of Edmond from Rock A Doodle. The sketch is also in here somewhere. ^^; Anyways, just fooling around with cell shading and all that. A lot of people like commissions with cute animals cell shaded and all lately – so I’m just trying to get the hang of it.

This was a prototype for a character that I was making at the time. I never really got around to finishing it though. Hopefully I will one day however. I’m going to try and move away from using to many black lines. I want my pieces to have a 3D look from now on. But that may take some getting used to.

Here is a random doodle of Spongebob I did while having a lecture. For some reason I made him emo. D: Don’t ask – haha. But this is going to be part of a series I’m doing of him dressed in various forms of pop culture. I’m a savvy beast. I’mma fix some of his anatomy – of course!

I decided to upload some of these commission icons so I could go ahead and clean out some of my folders. I have 3 more for Ellikans (2 can't be found) and some more for Booboo19. The first icon is a gift for my friend. :) Anyways, I doubt that I will be taking anymore until I can get paypal or something, and finish this batch. Because I’d rather have some income to help me with college funds then a subscription to some deviant account.

I will make a commission blog so that way I can have a portfolio of that. :3 Please do not use these, they’re made for the commissioner only.

Le sigh – I have not had the time to do anything personal, art wise that is. I mean, I do have some free time to do some things, but by the time I feel like it, I’m either tired or just get lazy onto doing it. Ethier way, here are some sketches.

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS. Jeebus, I’ve loves this sponge ever since he first came on TV. Although I prefer the old look of Spongebob along with the seasons, it’s still a good show. I just watched the movie today. Did these during a lecture.

Also, some random Harry Potter doodle I was doing outside while talking with John. Mrehish, I liked it until I took the time to really look at it. But I guess it is still good, I killed my entire blue pen for this. KILLED IT. I miss you, blue pen. My dad and I are possibly going to see the movie this weekend.

I went to church today and became seriously bored out of my mind ^^; I mean , it is a good church, I just have a short attention span. Anyways, some bone doodles I did - cause I'm morbid. Apparently the people behind me liked them though. Anyways - some dog like things on the white page,and my guinea pig on the pink along with a possible skeletal structure for Nina from Full Metal Alchemist.

I'm getting a lot faster with sketching. I'm so happy - cause that means I'm improving. xD Normally the cat would have taken me about 10min or something. It only took 6min. I know some anatomy is wonky - but I'm going to fix that in the inking stage.

Ahh.. some more sketches. Here I have some of Vlad from Danny Phantom, because he is one of the most awesome characters in the show. Anyways, they’re REAL QUICK so like, they aren’t that good – to me.

Here are some that do like that I did just 20min. ago. If you can’t tell from the lithe anatomy that they’re cheetahs – then I did a bad job on this. But if you can – then awesome! I was watching something about lions and disease on NG channel, and somehow that inspired me to draw this. I have been using the bones and muscle tissue that I gathered from my guineapig to do the hip bones and shoulder plates. Yar, I love doing these kinds of sketches – they’re awesome. I didn’t draw the heads cause I was being lazy honestly. Reugh… to much rambling so I’ma head out.

I hate the titles thinger, so I'm not doing it unless it is something important. Anyways, here are some doodles I have been doing on my breaks. Not a lot though really, I haven't had the time to actually to do any good doodling. But here are some.

This one came to mind when I saw some frat boy looking kids. And then there are some random Dannys at the bottom. In my last year of high school I somewhat created a meme with Danny by drawing him in random places saying “CAPZLOXZ” and that normally changed from whatever environment he was placed in. Like, the one here would have been drawn on a window or if he were on a desk he’d utter, “you can cheat w/ CAPZLOXZ.” I was a strange strange senior monkey. The capzloxz thing came from the Tom Cruize meme of him saying Capslocks. I think he would have played a smezzy Danny in his younger days.

Anyways! This is an early concept of my Johnny Depp cat character (who is © to me btw). Yesh… I’m so close I can feel it moving in my head like a brain chigger. Don’t you just love my random metaphors that in no way relate to the matter at hand? Also, that random bug-eyed thing is supposed to be my friend, Reggie's version of Luke Skywalker. And above him is Underdog, I guess. Hey I was BORED. ^^;

Also, Danny - I have come up with some awesome fancomics of him. D: I need to sketch and ink those cause man, it's gonna be awesome. Btw, sorry, Hartman. He's totally going done my mouth of twisted humor. xD

Ahh I’m back. :) I’m uploading some of the scraps in my deviantart account, here. Why? Because I want to make that my main gallery with all of my junk here, savvy? Anyways, here is something I was working on and… heh – totally forgot about. Completely. It is my friend Robert, awesome guy. This was originally drawn on paper for a watercolor. But after realizing I chose the wrong kind of paper and completely frugglin’ up – I threw it away. THANK THE LORD though that I happened to save it to my hard drive. So I started trying the painterly style with my wacom on adobe. Might finish it – who knows.Here is something that I dug up from the archives of my 2006 work. Ahh… amazing to see I’ve progressed since then. The main inspiration for this was Angelina’s baby, Maddox. Haha I could not help it, he just spells rock and roll coolness. He was going to become a minor character in my comic; D.E.B. Which STILL has not come into full fruition. Mostly because I want to get those characters © before they’re seen online again. I do have a couple of prototypes done though.

Ok, here are some of those sketches that I promised you guys. Lots and lots of doodles. As you can tell the first page holds a lot of motivation from Tim Burton films and actors. Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, and even Tim himself! Look closely – it may take a while for you to see it. But if you want a hint of connection then visit this link. The little red boy? Ya - he was supposed to be a toon version of Kevin from Edward Scissorhands. Then you have your random pikachu, African guy, and cat-boy thing. Other than that – the cool cat at the top is supposed to be an anthro based off of Johnny Depp, it’s a work in progress although I’m closer to his finale design unlike before. Now I wont get too deep into why I chose a cat and all that, but if you look closely you may be able to read why anyways. Ahhh – there are many more doodles like these but I’m going to wait a while before I show them.

Here is another sketch – of a man in DYNAMIC MOTION! I decided that I need to do a lot more realism sketches; I just normally dive into a piece. But I said to myself – “hey… I need more realistic sketches with foreshortening.” So I DID. So there is that.

Well, I have to work on 5 art pieces for my 2D class before Friday, they deal with lines. Eugh – but hey, it’s a learning process. And I’m sure I’ll find a way to make it creative and fun. I’ll more than likely upload the finished product here.

I shouldn't even be on the internet because I have soo much IB work to finish, but I am sadly, showing you - THIS! Quicky doodle of DP yet again, this time in a non-canon style of mine that is a little closer to Butch's. Anyways, trying to decide which Villan should go there. Since he looks a little inexperienced, I'm thinking the Box Ghost.

From now on I'm going to try and make this more legible and not as confusing as my previous posts. We will see how that goes.

Here are some clips from my IB comic The Runaway Dog. This is actually a very personal sequential piece that, in most parts, I put a lot of effort and thought into. It is going into the art show, and because of that a lot of it will be edited. But I'm glad a lot of people have taken interest in it and are actually looking forward to it, haha. I just know this is going to cause some kind of controversy, but frankly, it is my senior year and I could care less. I also do not feel like explaining it really, maybe I will once the entire thing is done/ It is about 10 pages long, and I have about 5 more to go until Tuesday. Augh... so tired. But this is what goes on in the real art biz. Skimpy deadlines and lots of coffee.

Whoo... have not uploaded here in a while. Umm... here are some sketches that I have been working on - mostly Danny Phantom since I have had a lot of inspiration for that as of late. Also some more random and not as good ones - but this is a sketch blog after all - so they're bound to be some bad ones every once and a while. I'm still reeally new at doing major perspective, although I have made previous attempts before that where somewhat good, surprisingly a lot of these where done w/o refs. Anyways - critique away if any wold like - although the mistakes are rather apparent.
